23andMe – genetics just got personal
And there you go, the 23andMe website has been redesigned and the service seems to be open to all (only US for now, it seems).
I was curious about how the final website would be presented, specially since there is a lot of information that needs to be simplified for the general public.
To answer this “problem” the folks at 23andMe came up with a section called Genetics 101 where they answer some of the more pertinent questions such as:
These are just a couple of the questions answered regarding genetics and DNA. There are videos, cool graphics and stories to help understand what your genes are and how knowledge of your genome may help you.

Although I can not attest to the quality of the actual service they now provide, I must congratulate them on a well produced website.
