Navigenics joins 23andMe in the personal genetics race

We’ve all had the chance to hear about 23andMe and it’s ties to Google and such, but it seems that there is a new kid on the personal genetics block, Navigenics.
Tipped off by VentureBeat, I’ve recently discovered Navigenics‘ website and it presents a nice little video that would make anyone want to send over a nice little cup-o-spit in trade for a cool understandable assessment of one’s genetic profile.
Now although this is a good thing, as competition usually always is, I’d like to know more about the actual process that takes place and how the results are presented to the clients. And specially how the clients will react and assimilate such information.
I consider it to be very important to produce visual tools to make both the analysis easier as also the presentation of the data to the general public. And like Jason from The Personal Genome has stated before, this is still a hole to be filled properly.
