Say hello to Biotech360
The other day I happened to notice a post over at Biotech Blog regarding a list of the top biotechnology blogs. This list was compiled and presented in the new biotechnology magazine from the folks at The Scientist. This new magazine is now live and is called Biotech360.
So far, not too much content but it looks pretty cool. I actually prefer white backgrounds on websites, but the black look isn’t hurting, yet. And what’s with the hype around 360? Biotech360, XBOX360, Anderson Cooper 360…
So for those that ask what’s this new magazine all about? I’ll just let them do the explaining:
Our mission in creating Biotech360 was simple: to hold up a mirror to biotechnological advances and policy discussions around the globe and bring you the most provocative and relevant stories.
Biotech360, from the publishers of The Scientist, delivers essential content, sophisticated break-through design, and in-depth profiling of the people, culture and business in the biotech industry.
While embracing the hope and challenging the hype, we promise to illuminate the most pressing issues on the world landscape.
So far I’m enjoying the site very much. Great layout and some good articles. There is a subscription form to request the premier issue of the magazine (the form seems funky in my browser…) but it worked. Oh, and I’m not a Sr Researcher, should that be a problem? (*wink*wink*)
Update: Boooooo! No RSS feed, how web 1.0!

I also don’t care much for dark backgrounds on websites but I must say the Biotech360 site is slick. I signed up for a free issue. Looking forward to reading more!
I am starting a new blog about major clinical trials that are going on in the biotech world:phase3analytics. I would love to get some feedback on it; Is it possible to join the business of biotech network? Thanks in advance.
Hi jsbe, I’ve just been looking at your site and it looks promising. I’m curious what are you going to make of the wiki?
Regarding the Business of Biotech Network, I recommend you visit Adam’s blog (http://rnaventures.blogspot.com/) and ask for an invite (he’s the coordinator). ;)
Thanks a lot. I’m hoping that over time users will edit the wiki to provide updated information about major ongoing trials that we will be covering. Right now its hard to get good summaries about what is known about therapeutics that are in the development/trial phase.
