Encyclopedia of Life
I must have been under a rock or something because I missed the announcement of this amazing new website which is much more than just that, it is to be a full blown Encyclopedia of Life.
The website isn’t yet available but there are already a bunch of examples of what it will all look like and even a great video demonstration [YouTube] that just makes one asking for more. Or at least that’s what I was feeling…
That flash phylogenetic tree just blew my mind. And the level bar that hides/shows information depending your knowledge level, also cool!
I’m almost sure there will be a lot more posting about this in the future. Let’s just wait for the whole thing to go live and then we can go from there… :)
