Miracle Drug misconceptions
I’ve learned through time that you must always think twice before speaking or writing in public. And I’d add a third thought process to the package if the subject at hand is something you do not fully understand.
Well, over the last couple of days I noticed that a whole lot of attention was being drawn to a story related to a new miracle drug that is dirt cheap and could possibly cure cancer. This is something to stop and pay attention to, because everybody wants a cure for cancer, right?
But then after a little reading and a little research and a little common sense, it all boiled down to a couple of misinformed individuals making amazingly exagerated statements without fundament, such as BigPharma not wanting this cure to see the light of day due to low cost! Hah!
A lot has been said and a lot is still to come but the worse part here is definately the false hope. Yes, because this type of hype usually brings up hope. And when hope is based on false premises, the truth bites back and it hurts!
Maybe everyone should just think a couple times more before they speak or type…
