David Suzuki’s global warming analogy
One thing I love is the use of an good analogy to understand a complex situation. It’s not a question of keeping things simple, it’s more about compacting things into a nicer package.
While running through my feeds, I stopped over at Clean Break for a look-see on the clean energy news and found this amazing analogy by David Suzuki:
“it’s like we’re all in a car heading 100 kilometres an hour toward a brick wall, but we’re all arguing about who’s going to sit where, rather than trying to turn the wheel and apply the break. Meanwhile, he added, NGOs like the Suzuki Foundation are locked in the trunk of the car so all you can hear is their muzzled shouts in the background.”
Great analogy.

Agreed, this is correct, Suzuki should be locked in the trunk of a car. He adds little science to the debate of GW, yes it is still a open debate, not a concensus by far. Please visit CO2 Science for some real scientific evaluations and critcal thoughts, rather than alarmist drum banging.
Well
I definitely agree..
We are action mad, even though we are aware of the potential dangers.
But i think most of us are leaving the whole thing on science who discovered about global warming and rely on science to come up with some golden solution to rectify it.
People don’t understand that they are the cause and reason for such disasters.
