...I used it and have been googling to find people that like me experienced that the skin was damaged by the acid in the cream, hurting and now peeling off, like after bad sunburn. I look about 10 years olde in the moment than my 37.

I have these not so nice indentations on my skin, but the DNA Age Nivea after only one night of application GREATLY fixed/filled in these scars. It is truly amazing!!

It does not have such a reaction on my wrinkles, but it is incredible how it has smoothed over my facial scaring in only one night of use.

I wonder if their new day cream also protects you from UV. I use Ecco Bella 15 SPF day cream, with all organic ingredients, DMAE, Vitamin C etc, with good results, but it is expensive unless you know a cheap Health Food Store like I do in Toronto.

I have had some good results with Derma E, Ester C, DMAE, Alpha Lipoic Acid Cream, but it does not have the TOTAL IMMEDIATE RESULTS that Nivea DNA Does. I would like to try Derma E's Reverse Wrinkle Cream.

A woman I know said that her friend used just plain old Nivea from the 1960's all her life every night and had beautiful skin, so I thought I would try Nivea , too. I tried all the high end Nivea Creams, but Nivea CoQ10, did not have any really immediate results, except maybe some skin tightening effects and good moisturization.

So I will keep using this Nivea DNA Age cream, even though it is expensive, but I can get it on sale and use the POints system at Shoppers Drug Mart.

I hope this cream does not morph me into a monkey over time and I don't get cancer from it.........but that is why I magnetize my water before drinking with a magnetic cup.........

Does DNage contain nano-particles? Hopefully it does not actually damage DNA and cause cancer and perhaps even accelerate skin aging when used over a long period of time. Please read below.
In a press release on April 17, 2007, the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) reported research presented at the 2007 annual meeting that suggests nanoparticles could cause cancer and should be thoroughly investigated and used with caution. Researchers at the University of Massachusetts studied two types of nanoparticles (silica and C60 fullerene), in MCF-7 and breast cancer cells, and found an increase in DNA damage (single and double-stranded breakages) with both dose- and time-dependent results.

Although DNA breakages do not necessarily mean a substance is cancer-causing, it is widely accepted that chemicals causing DNA damage are highly likely to promote mutations which can lead to cancer.

There is good evidence that folate acts as a UV filter and is involved in DNA repair. In the absence of full disclosure of DNage active ingredients and their amounts not much one can say about mode of action. What can be said however is that unmetabolized folic acid may pose a health hazard. Lets do the testing properly and thoroughly to see how much of the vitamin enters the bloodstream how long it stays there and in what form. It is my view that it is irresponsible to do the experiment on millions of unsuspecting women.

The product is fantastic. I have used it consistently morning and night for about 4 months. The results are wonderful, skin texture, wrinkles and elasticity are all significantly improved.

I'm a R&D Chemist for the cosmetic, therapeutic and pharmaceutical industry. While I do not work for Nivea, Induchem nor do I have anything to do with their products, I happened upon this discussion while reading about industry products.

Nivea’s DNAge range uses an ingredient by the trade name of Unirepair T-43 (Acetyl Tyrosine, Proline, Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein, Adenosine Triphosphate in Butylene Glycol solvent), manufactured by Induchem. This ingredient, when used at prescribed level of 3% (1.5% to 3% advised), showed a 37% decrease in apparent redness of test subjects skin after 24 hours, and 52% after 48 hours, when compared to a placebo and exposed to UV radiation (1.25 x MED). The test subjects were all 27-58, male and female, with a skin phototype (Fitzpatrick) <III. These test results interpret the redness of the skin to reflect DNA damage in vivo (reasonable accepted assumption).

While not foolproof, it is some scientific results to back up some creative marketing.

I have no idea about the so-called "science" behind this product - all I can say is that it is the ONLY line of products that I have had results with. I was actually part of an independent trial for the DNA Age range and honestly didn't expect anything - at the very most, I thought "hey, if it at least adds moisture to my skin I'll be happy" (particularly as I haven't paid a cent for the product/s). Well, I've been using it (the night and day cream and eye cream) for only 3 days now and I can't believe the difference - particularly to my eye area. I'm almost 40, but actually have very good skin - very few lines and my skin is in good condition, but I do have a few very fine lines under my eyes, along with slight puffiness and dark circles. This morning I noticed the lines have virtually disappeared, the puffiness has gone and the dark circles have greatly diminished. I've no idea if this is just a coincidence or not, but I can honestly say I would have no problems purchasing this line of products. I've purchased some of the most expensive products money can buy, along with the cheapest, and like I say this is the only product I've seen any results with. Just my opinion, and other people may not find they have the same results, but personally, I'm impressed.
