		<description>He is Belgium if I am not mistaken. I have seen him in two smallish conferences and he is very much a social guy. 
I think in order to be noticed you have to be very good at promoting your ideas. There is a limited attention and a lot of good science so I would guess that those memes (systems, synthetic, interactomes, comparative genomics/interactomics, networks, evo-devo ...) get spread in part because there is some sound scientific reasoning behind them but also very much because the people pushing them are well connected and good at meme promotion. So, my opinion is that they have to be good at communicators to get there in the first place.</description>
